Skye Bailey is the Creative Director and Founder of The Zombie Wellness Project, a creative wellness initiative supported by Brooklyn B.A.R. Productions, LLC, a mission-driven creative practice that uses visual storytelling, digital content, and community engagement to design healing-centered experiences inspired by the magic of Halloween.
Skye Bailey is also a Moving Image Artist and Experimental Animator that focuses on minimalist moving image art, creating works where shapes serve as the primary protagonists. Their work explores the intersection of digital abstraction and personal narrative, often finding beauty and solace in the eerie or overlooked spaces of life. Operating within the realm of experimental animation, their silent, one-minute shorts focus on visual choreography, challenging traditional storytelling by stripping away dialogue and sound.
While their primary practice focuses on manual digital choreography, they occasionally engage in generative AI art and animation. These projects are explicitly designated as such to maintain technical transparency, often exploring character-driven narratives that contrast with their abstract work.
