Skye Bailey is the Creative Director and Founder of The Zombie Wellness Project, a creative wellness initiative supported by Brooklyn B.A.R. Productions, LLC. This mission-driven creative practice uses visual storytelling, digital content, and community engagement to design healing-centered experiences inspired by the magic of Halloween.
Skye Bailey is a professional Moving-Image Artist whose contemporary practice focuses on a minimalist visual language where graphic elements serve as protagonists in silent, one-minute films. Bypassing text, dialogue, and subtitles, their work relies on precise vector choreography, structural timing, and selective atmospheric sound design to convey profound emotional and psychological narrative arcs. This dedicated mastery of digital simplicity and non-verbal storytelling earned them the 2023 "Rookie of the Year" award in Motion Graphics from The Rookies, followed by the 2024 Big Idea Grant.
Their moving-image works have been recognized extensively across international festival circuits, including Flickers' Rhode Island International Film Festival, the Los Angeles Animation Festival, the New York Animation Film Awards, and the Midnight Madness Toronto film festival. While their core practice is anchored in meticulous manual digital choreography, they occasionally integrate generative AI video tools with strict technical transparency.
